Consumers are seeking out Delta 8 THC. And considering the D8 isomer can easily make you fail a drug screen, it seems to be the #1 sought after compound found in cannabis right now (at least where we’re at). An isomer is two or more compounds with the same formula but a different arrangement of atoms). Delta 8 (t is extremely familiar to Delta 9 (the illegal cannabinoid), and with only one difference in its chemical makeup, is one tiny atom. However the big difference with that are probably the legalities that surround these cannabinoids.
Delta 9 Tetrahydrocannabinol is known more for getting the user stoned. It is known for MANY other very important things, but unfortunately, made illegal due to the idea of making the individual have a ‘Jekyll & Hyde’ effect. Even worse, the motivation behind the Marijuana Tax Act of 1937 stems from racism and xenophobia.
Considering the legalities of that particular cannabinoid, it’s closely related sister compound Delta 8 has proven its unique effects and IS legal for patients all across the country. We don’t know HOW LONG this will last. It seems if it has anything to do with cannabis, it will be criminalized not long after scientists discover it’s unique benefits.
Like CBD, CBG, CBN and many of the other 120+ cannabinoids in cannabis, Delta 8 THC gives you relief from anxiety, pain, and insomnia. It may react differently from person to person, but that is part of how interesting and valuable Delta 8 can be. Everyone is different, and can respond to cannabinoids distinctively in comparison to the next person.
There have been reports of Delta 8’s unique effects such as it is an actual appetite stimulant (even more so that those who receive an appetite increase from CBD). There are a lot of patients who have nausea, or just don’t have an appetite at all because of medication. D8 helps in BOTH of these situations. And it doesn’t just come as a vape, you can take it as an oil, or even an edible.
Delta 8 has also made its mark during (or before) having intercourse. And whatever reason you may suffer (poor libido, pharmaceutical medication, etc) D8 might be what you need. Delta 8 produces a feeling of homeostasis, anxiolytic (anti-anxiety), and focus - leaving the consumer happy, calm, and maybe LOVING! Sometimes there is no other route to take - so take Delta 8!
