Green Tea originates from China but has been associated with many different cultures throughout Asia, and it’s popularity has continued to grow throughout the west. There are many different varieties of Green Tea, all of these varieties can differ greatly due to their growing conditions, horticulture, the production process and the time of year they are harvested. 

Our Green Tea, also known as Guo Lu, is harvested from first flush spring buds in Anhui Province. Green Tea is high in antioxidants and is rich with Polyphenol antioxidants called catechins including EGCG. 

The leaves of Guo Lu are dark and twisted. They are processed through hand rolling and pan fried. Guo Lu has a toasted flavor with a delicate plum finish. Because of its delicate flavor it makes for a great tea blend, making it a perfect base for our Buddha’s Berry Tea. 

We incorporate all three Tulsi types in our CBD Green Tea: Krishna Tulsi, Vana Tulsi and Rama Tulsi. Tulsi is considered to be a tonic for the body, mind and spirit. It has a therapeutic value and is also high in Vitamin A, C and many other nutrients. Commonly used in Ayurvedic medicine and an important symbol of the Hindu religion. 

What does Buddha’s Berry CBD Tea Taste Like? 

Our CBD Green Tea offers a mildly fruity scent with an astringent body, finishing with a soft sweet flavor at the base note. Tulsi has a strong aroma and can yield a fresh, almost lemony taste. Blackberry leaves have a less herbal flavor and almost have a slightly fruity flavor profile, though they are very mild in this blend. 

Tasting Notes: Vegetal, sweet, and delicate. 

When should I drink Buddha’s Berry? 

Buddha’s Berry is our CBD Green Tea, we suggest starting your morning with this blend or before a workout session. Trading a morning cup of coffee with a cup of Buddha’s Berry is a great way to kick off the day. Remember, each bag can be used up to 2-3 times (and be sure to press and massage the bag with a spoon for maximum benefit!)

Spring Green Tea

Sourced first flush spring buds in the Anhui Province. Subtle mild flavor with a slightly fruity aftertaste.

Krishna Tulsi

Also known as Shyama. This purple-leaved Tulsi is famous for being peppery, pungent and crispy.

Vana Tulsi

A ceremonial plant used in Ayurveda. One of the four main forms of Tulsi grown for medicinal purposes.

Rama Tulsi

Rama tulsi is the most common type of tulsi (or Holy Basil). Popular in Ayurvedic medicine.

Blackberry Leaf

Used as a gentle astringent tonic in herbal concoctions. Usually mild, but with a pleasant, fruity flavor.

Coconut Milk Powder

Freshly pressed coconut milk. Supports cannabinoid bioavailability & rich in iron, fiber & magnesium, and antioxidants like selenium.

Yucca Root

The root of the Cassava plant. Used to produce tapioca maltodextrin, which prevents caking & clumping.

Acacia Fiber

A water-soluble dietary fiber exuded from the acacia tree. Sourced from small organic farms.
