CBD Tea | Infused Oolong Passionfruit Tea

Oolong is a succulent tea, perfect for those who don’t love the intensity or sharpness of traditional green teas. Our organic Oolong is blended with semi-sweet dried fruits (no artificial flavors!) for a simple, exotic and delightfully palatable, full-bodied fruit tea with a mildly smooth after taste. Guaranteed to appeal to the senses of the black tea lover & green lover!

The Benefits of Drinking Oolong Passion:

Oolong tea, sometimes written as wu long or wulong, means “black dragon tea.” Other descriptions are “blue tea” or semi fermented tea. It’s neither black or green tea, but rather it falls into its own category. It represents true artisan mastery of processing tea. Both China and Taiwan are claimed as origins of Oolong tea, though Taiwan boasts the most famous oolongs as they are traditionally less oxidized and greener in color than Chinese Oolong. Oolong tea represents only 2% of the world tea, so it is a relatively less popular style of tea.

Oolong is produced by allowing the tea to wither under the sun and oxidize before curling and twisting. The oxidation can range from 8%-80% depending on the variety and production.

Popular for hundreds of years in Italy and Spain, Blood Orange Peel is a great source of vitamins and antioxidants. They are an amazing source of Vitamin C and Vitamin A. They are also packed full of anti-inflammatories like anthocyanins, beta-carotene, folate and calcium.

Passionfruit is full of vitamin C and A a well has fiber. It is full of nutrients including calcium, magnesium and so much more.

Lemongrass, also called citronella, was commonly used as a folk remedy. It contains antioxidant properties and also contains antimicrobial properties as well .

What Does Oolong Passion taste like?

Oolong passion has a light, almost perfumey taste with hints of fresh cut grass and has a well rounded green flavor. The blood orange peel and passion fruit powder allow for a sweet and citrus flavor to come through giving this tea a bright, summery taste that can be enjoyed year round. Oolong has characteristics that are very similar to both black and green tea. This leads to a delightful flavor profile when paired with the fruit.

Due to the varied levels of oxidation around the world, oolong teas can have dramatically varied flavor profiles. Oolong teas that have been oxidized for longer, have a more robust, woodsy and earthy notes. While tea that has been oxidized for a shorter amount of time is sweeter and has a more floral flavor profile.

Tasting Notes: Warm, Floral, and toasty
