Smoking Hemp Flower + Strain Information
Smoking Flower and it’s wonderful BENEFITS
Smoking hemp flowers to some people may seem pointless. I’ve heard the ol’ diet weed, fake flower, etc. It’s usually someone that has not been properly educated on what the hemp flower is actually doing for the human body, and how consumers benefit from smoking it. A lot of folk have been misinformed that people do it to replace marijuana, or they’re just a couple lightweights and cannot handle REAL ganja.
Hemp flower has endless strains just like her lovely cousin marijuana. Each strain will look different, smell different, and taste different. It is no different from having different types of apples, roses, or peppers. Better yet, and something that apples, roses, and peppers don’t do, is have very specific effects on the body and mind when you smoke it.
Cannabis is used for many things, and has been for thousands of years. Cannabis was used as medications as well as other things such as textiles and clothing, building material, and the seeds were used as food. It is the only plant that can feed you, house you, and heal you. But what happens when you smoke it?
Smoking hemp is a type of medication. Hemp flowers are high in CBD and other cannabinoids that affect the human body, so smoking activates these compounds, and absorbs immediately into the lungs. Upon inhalation, the CBD compounds enter the bloodstream via the tiny vessels that run throughout the lungs, and start delivering CBD where it is needed.
It is interesting that as CBD runs throughout the body, it will only not absorb where it is needed. The body has tiny receptors (very similar to the nervous system) that activate when CBD enters the blood vessels, and it runs everywhere from your brain to your toes. It can literally benefit every part of the body - if needed.
There are two types of receptors, basically one for your brain (anxiety / depression / insomnia) and one for your body (pain / inflammation). Smoking Hemp flower that is higher in particular cannabinoids (mainly CBD aka Cannabidiol) will start delivering relief to those receptors, immediately upon inhalation. Some people may need to smoke more to get the relief they’re looking for, but that is usually depending on tolerance (and your tolerance can build).
The fun part about smoking Hemp Flower (other than the millions of fun smoking apparatuses) is the hundreds of strains to choose from. Smokable hemp flowers are bred to be strain specific. There is lots of crossbreeding between plants to produce the best strains possible. There is a huge variety of effects that different hemp strains have. Some may be better for sleep, and some may be better to smoke during the day to relieve fatigue. Some may help with creativity or even depression relief.
There are many strains to choose from. And to be blunt, it is a bunch of trial and error. But when it comes to smoking cannabis, the trial and error is very entertaining, and regardless of the strain you decided to smoke, you are almost guaranteed to get SOME type of relief. So fire one up, and take notes. Find the strain that works well for you.
